Test and Verification Engineer

Algo-logic is hiring experienced verification and test engineers with hardware and software experience to develop automated tests to ensure quality of FPGA-accelerated products. Responsibilities include design and implementation of tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. The role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and conducting tests to ensure that the system runs smoothly and meets all product accecptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Implement automated test scripts
• Review requirements, specifications and design documents 
• Create detailed, comprehensive and structured test plans 
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Work with internal teams of developers and product managers to identify system requirements
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Skills

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science

• Comfortable with Python including data structures for lists and dictionaries 

• Familiar with Python Classes

• Experience with Linux

• Knowledge of Networking protocols including Ethernet, UDP, TCP, Multicast, and VLANs
• Experience with code optimization & performance profiling 
• Experience in writing clear, modular, concise test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience working with automated test tools
• Experience using Gitlab CICD 
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development process
